Wednesday 6 July 2022 - Breisach

Celeste and I took a Black Forest bus tour. Carla is not good on buses, so they stayed back and toured the town. We rode about 1.5 hours on a scenic local road, then stopped at a tourist trap for about 1.5 hour and returned for about 1 hour through Freiburg and on a major highway. Unfortunately, the best scenery was on the other side of bus during the scenic part. 

At the tourist trap, activities included glass blowing, cuckoo clock making, making black forest cake, and a hike. We did hike. 

We returned for lunch with Carla & Tyler and toured the town from about 2 until 4. 

After supper we sat up front on the ship and watched the world go by. We finally reached another lock but had to wait while another ship went down before us and a second came back up. We finally had our turn and dropped 25-30 feet before going to bed about 10:30.
