Riviera Maya Monday 20 Feb 2012

Everyone was on their own for breakfast and the morning today. Justin and Cameron slept in (by our standard) as they were still on Vancouver time and had a long hard day yesterday. When they got up, we all gathered at the kids pool, which has numerous slides into a pool about one foot deep.

We went for lunch at 1:30. After lunch, Sue took Cameron for a nap while Darren and the other young folk booked an excursion for Wednesday.

Celeste and I took Justin back to our room for a brief story and to change into beach wear.

We were all back at the beach about 4:30 where we caught the end of a Mayan cultural show.

Cameron and Sue soon joined us. Justin was a bit uncomfortable with the sand and waves until I dug a trench in the sand and told him he better not walk in my trench. Then, he was in there like a dirty shirt!

We went back to our rooms at 6 to clean up for the Mexican buffet at 7. After supper, Carla and Tyler went back to their room while the rest of us retired to the sports bar, where the boys found some other kids and some materials to play with until we went home for the night.
