Everybody slept in, Annabelle an hour longer than Charlotte.
We spent much of the day by the pool.
Laura and Brett moved to a ground floor room with a balcony so they could sit outside with a baby monitor while the
girls were sleeping. This makes it handy for
everyone else to stop by and come and go.
The twins were loving their baths until a few weeks ago when Charlotte suddenly developed an aversion. Her anti-bath tantrums upset Annabelle who then also developed an aversion. One of the goals of the trip was to get them to again have fun in the water. Although they were initially quite fearful, they were soon having fun. The twins were also fearful of the sand. Perhaps they were upset by the unsure footing having learned to walk on secure surfaces.
Many of us took in the evening on-resort entertainment. We
saw a bit of last night’s show and it was fairly lame, so we were not expecting
much, but tonight’s show was pretty good. Three women and two men did various
routines with fire, either juggling or swinging fireballs on chains. After the show we hung out for a while near the beach.
